Sam Lagana has been selected as the next Honorary Town Sheriff for Pacific Palisades. Known for his extensive community service, philanthropy, and dynamic Palisades stewardship, Lagana will be sworn into his role as Honorary Town Sheriff on March 12, 2025 at the Ronald Reagan Palisades Post 283.
A distinguished leader, Lagana’s career spans decades of influential service, from his tenure as CEO & President of Notre Dame High School to his 19-year impact at Pepperdine University as Associate Vice Chancellor. His expertise in philanthropy, development, and public affairs has consistently uplifted institutions and communities across Southern California. His leadership has transformed organizations, raised millions for education and athletics, and secured enduring legacies for generations to come.
Beyond the boardroom, Lagana is a beloved voice in sports and entertainment, serving as the game announcer for the Los Angeles Rams and hosting iconic sports events like the John R. Wooden Awards. His ability to bring people together through sports, education, and civic engagement embodies the spirit of community stewardship.
